BA and I awoke to a view of the SeattleHarbor and took an early walk down there. It was a beautiful sunny morning so we stopped for coffee at Starbucks on the waterfront. I believe legend says it is the first. We met up for breakfast with Joe, Lil, Art and Carol at The Icon Grill. Michael, our waiter, snapped the picture above. Joel arranged for car service to the ship and we arrived at Pier 91 to see the Westerdam docked right next to the NCL Princess with the Chaseys, and Aretino’s aboard. Very cool as we could see them waving to us from their deck! We departed Seattle with a terrific view of the Space Needle, harbor and, of course Mt.Ranier pictured above. The next few hours were spent with a wonderful couple from Houston where the husband is serving in the Air Force. Our 8PM dinner reservation was at Table 1, a window seat, where BA had Prime Rib while Joel, Barbara, and I had Salmon. We ended the evening in the casino and met up with our friendly military couple in the piano bar for some terrific end of the evening fun.
