After breakfast at
Sam and Omies a little place right on RT 12 before the bridge to Manteo, we headed out to the southern end of Roanoke to a little village called
Wanchese (if you check this link you will see Collington where Elliot and Marcia's house is in relation to it) . The locals say it is pronounced like "Wan Cheesie". We will probably explore there by boat during the week. Afterwards, a leisurely afternoon at the
Tanger Outlets (you always have to go there), we headed to
Captain Franks for one of their famous hot dogs. A quiet evening consisted of a boat ride with BA and Penny, a round of Mini Golf at
Paradise Golf (The course was not in the best condition which is probably why BA beat me by 2 stokes) and finished off with pizza and wine back at the OBX abode from a new place (for us) called
Slice.
