Arghhhhh!... A Trip To Pirates Cove (for fuel)

The day started out so beautiful we decided it was time for our long boat trip. After adding ten gallons I picked up at TJ's we headed for Pirates Cove Marina (pictured left) to get more fuel. It is located on the north side of the bridge from Nags Head into Manteo. From there we headed to Wanchese where we had driven to a few days before.
The turn off into Wanchese is not far from the area of Oregon Inlet leading to the ocean. After cruising through Wanchese harbor we headed back and tied up in Manteo Harbor for lunch at The Hungry Pelican and then walked around a bit before returning home late in the afternoon.
Dinner was at The Colington Cafe where we shared a warm brie appetizer, caeser salads, Filet Mignon for BA, and mixed grill (Filet with Tuna) for me, mixed veggies and Garlic mashed pototoes for both of us.
