The Birds.. Starring Tippi Hendren?

Here I am holding a nail for my father...(Oh wait , sorry flashback to my youth). Well as you can see things never change! I am holding a screw now for my ecologically sound brother as he puts the finishing touches on a birdhouse condo. You know, two car garage, indoor pool, all the amenities. What sophisticated bird would not want one?
I am expecting hundreds of blackbirds arriving tomorrow! Pictured to the left is Elliot, Mike and Tippi, oops I mean Marcia. BA is the photog. I taught her well!
After the finishing touches we headed out on the boat towards Oregon Inlet stopping short and returning to Manteo for a late lunch as the hour grew late. Too bad Marcia and Elliot had to leave for home.
