A Day to Vegitate, Eat, and "Perchance To Dream"

Yesterday was a day to relax and get a late start. Penny enjoyed it by donning her OBX hat and going for a walk with Mike and Aunt Marcia. Later, we took off for Corolla and lunch at The Route 12 Steak and Seafood restaurant in Timbuck II shopping center. Terrific! After lunch and a little shopping we stopped at a new home construction site on the sound called Corolla Bay. Some of the home sites are built directly on the sound while some are close by. You can buy the land and have a custom home built by anyone but they can do that as well. The land on the sound was selling at $599,000 and across the street for $399,000. The model depicted in the link was selling for a mere 2.1 million ( a steal). Every room (7 bedrooms) was set up with separate baths, flat screen TV's, etc. as the house was set up as a possible rental. With 3 floors. elevator, pool, bars, and a large kitchen it would offer some happy couple a "nice" getaway. Maybe the "llc" should look into it!
Upon our arrival at "Chez Dalberg" we found Bill's Marine repair (very possibly now a member of the family) looking at Elliot's boat and telling us the prop had spun out and he could have it fixed by this morning. Dinner was at Meridian42 in Southern Shore where we dined on Onion soup (soups being a specialty) tilefish, cod and, of course, pork for BA.
