| Forgotten Tonic St Augustine |
St Augustine has been a favorite of ours since our first trip south in 2018.....the year we retired. It was a
final stop on a 6 week trip taking us south to our snowbird stop of Vero Beach Florida. Since then we have been back 2 more times in our RV and then twice more just for visits.
This trip took us to
The Kenwood Inn, located on Marine Street just walking distance to the old city, fort and more.
We went for an early dinner to a very cool place within walking distance called
The Forgotten Tonic.
After an appetizer of Baked Brie I had Shrimp and Grits and BA had a wonderful chicken dinner

DAY TWO OF FOUR IN ST AUGUSTINE
Band B's are a wonderful place to stay and breakfasts are usually a part of that but this first morning's breakfast was one to be noted. We saw the menu and assumed we were picking one of the three "choices". Uh...No...This is a three course breakfast suffice it to say we never had or needed lunch!

DAY TWO OF FOUR AT ST AUGUSTINE LIGHTHOUSE
 |
| St Augustine Lighthouse |
We traveled and visited many a lighthouse. Stop and look in our living room and find photos of them....well everywhere! As we said we have visited here many times but never fit the St Augustine Lighthouse in. Today was it! Armed with my new Nikon Zf I was able to get this lead picture above and a few more below.

DAY TWO OF FOUR IN ST AUGUSTINE DINNER
 |
| Nonna's Trattoria and The Forgotten Tonic |
Our second night posed a bit of a challenge for dinner as weather included some pretty serious storms and we thought we wouldn't make it out. I was thinking of grabbing an umbrella and getting something to go when the storms just let up and we were able to walk to a very cute Italian place called Nonna's Trattoria (just next door to Forgotten Tonic) We split a Caesar Salad and I had Penne Puttanesca and BA had Penne Bolognese

DAY THREE OF FOUR IN ST AUGUSTINE BREAKFAST

DAY THREE OF FOUR IN ST AUGUSTINE OUT AND ABOUT
Today was a veg out day of shopping in the old town.....(of course I bought a new hat pictured above) and then a ride out to
The Reef Restaurant on the ocean in St Augustine.
We decided to do a little barhopping for dinner and started out for a drink ar The Chatsworth Pub and Tea Room then we took a walk back over to Forgotten Tonic atb the bar for drinks and apps.

DAY FOUR OF FOUR ST AUGUSTINE.
 |
| The Kenwood Inn |
Our last morning before heading home we were treated to a final breakfast and a last visit from Kenzie!
Final thoughts.....Very nice BandB and our room was very comfortable. Parking is around the corner and they will park your car if you ask. We were able to go and get ours whenever we needed it but they did park it for us initially. Its walking distance to much of everything in the city including any of the tour trams. Once again the staff couldn't have been any more accommodating and we do recommend The Kenwood Inn.....oh and did I mention the breakfasts?
