A "Veg Out" Morning... An Evening Kayak Journey

Thursday was a quiet morning just hanging around and having lunch at Dirty Dick's. Afterwards we took a quiet cruise around the canals of Collington and snuck out for a few minutes into the windswept waves of the Albemarle Sound. With the weather being the most perfect of the trip we were able to head out to our 5:30 reservation for a kayak trip around Manteo on Roanoke Island. Our guide, Wes, turned out to be our exclusive guide as we were the only clients he had. BA and I were on a tandem kayak and followed Wes as he took us around the marshes near Manteo.
