The Beautiful Island Of St Kitts

Romney Manor

Yesterday we toured the beautiful island of Saint Kitts!

Our day began with a drive through Basseterre, where we saw Independence SquareSt. George's Anglican ChurchBerkeley Memorial, and the Queen Victoria Statue Roundabout.

We then visited Romney Manor, once owned by an ancestor of Thomas Jefferson. On the grounds, Caribelle Batikshowcased the intricate process of creating beautiful batik fabric — fascinating to watch!

Next stop was Timothy Hill Overlook for a perfect photo opportunity and breathtaking views.

After some shopping back in town, we stumbled upon local dancers (see the short video!) which made the day even more memorable.

In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at the ship’s steakhouse, followed by music and drinks — the perfect ending to another amazing day in paradise! 🍹🎶
