Rollin' Into Retirement

Campsite at KOA Luray Virginia
Its been some time since our last blog post. 2018 has been an exciting year! BA and I decided early on we would retire at some point. BA, having made that decision last year rolled into her year end in June 2018 while my decision came about a month ago and retirement for me was yesterday. A few months back we traded our trusty 5th wheel Prime Time Crusader 295RST for a Georgetown 369DS motor home pictured above.  After adding what is called a dinghy, our 2018 Jeep Wrangler as a flat tow, we proceeded to take a quick trip to the Shenandoah Valley and the KOA of Luray for a shakedown trip (pictured above). We have booked a 6 month stint in Vero Beach at The Sunshine Travel Resort in Florida and will be leaving September 5th for a month long"journey" to that winter destination.
Follow us here at our blog and look for our new blog name, Rollin' Into Retirement and our new domain name rollinintoretirement.com! We promise some interesting stories and pictures and we will be adding a video walk around of our RV.

Our rig while at a rest stop
At a stop on our trip to VA gave us a chance for a quick bite and a quick stop for Nina.
This first post is a test and I will be editing this and adding links.
