Off To Point Lookout

 

After breakfast we headed south to Point Lookout about 30 miles south . Pictured above is Point Lookout where the weather yesterday was rainy, blustery but not very cold. Tides were high and were breaking over the road. Point Lookout is a popular fishing area as it is where the Chesapeake meets the Potomac at the southern end. The third picture is the Point Lookout lighthouse. Afterward we headed back towards Solomons and had lunch at The Ruddy Duck. Back on Solomons we strolled along the walk where you can view the bridge that takes you across The Patuxent River to St Marys County.

 

We had a late dinner at Stoneys than returned to our room with a dessert to go with coffee and of course a few glasses of Pinot Noir!
