
BA and I decided it was time to get off our "@#%*$" well you get the idea! The day before we stopped at the bike shop and picked up a new
Thule bike rack for the Pathfinder that connects to the hitch and will tilt down if you need access to the back. The goal was to make the trek on the
Edgar Felix Bike Path that starts in
Manasquan on Main Street and travels approx. 7 miles to the
Allaire State Park parking lot. We decided to park in Allaire and make the round trip that way. On the way back we stopped at the
Allenwood General Store for a cold drink. A very quaint place with lots of "junk" that they specifically tell you is for sale!
We also stopped on Hospital Road to see the
Bull that makes it home on a farm visible from the road! We knew about this as we would pass it on our daily trips to see Jimmy at the rehab center. For a look at some shots from our biking day follow this
